US surpasses seven million coronavirus cases: Johns Hopkins tally

The United States on Friday crossed seven million confirmed coronavirus cases, according to a running tally by Johns Hopkins University.

The figure of 7,005,746 cases confirmed by tests is the highest in the world, with India second at 5.8 million cases and Brazil third with 4.7 million.
