Telemedicine played a considerable role early in the pandemic. Patients who were too afraid to leave their homes, those who were immunocompromised, and many others felt safer seeking medical care via video conference call rather than risking exposure to the virus.

In Medscape’s Physician Assistant Career Satisfaction Report 2022, two thirds of PAs reported using telehealth for patient visits. Now, almost 3 years into the pandemic, is telemedicine as big as it was, and how has it helped physician assistants then and now?
