There are a bunch of things that we would never imagine working with yoga, but actually do (hey, don’t judge until you try): Bieryoga (where you eagerly sip on your favourite brews whilst performing our best downward dogs), goat yoga (where baby goats climb over you as you try hold a dhanurasana), and naked yoga (doing it all..you know…naked).
And now, we have another to add to the list: disco yoga.
Created by fitness brand Flow Athletic, the “Awakening” themed Flow After Dark silent yoga disco will be held on June 23 at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion.
The 90 minute all-level Vinyasa Yoga, led by Flow Athletic co-founder, Kate Kendall, will be set to the beats of Sydney DJ, James Mack and focus on a slow flow with moments of fire and a whole lot of fluidity.
Being a silent disco, think illuminating headphones, progressive style beats, and your best yogi moves – all under the roof of one of Sydney’s favourite live music venues, The Hordern Pavilion.
“Reunited at last, we return to our mats at the Hordern Pavilion; re-emerging, re adjusting, reawakening. Join Kate Kendall for this very special all levels 90minute vinyasa class; a slow flow with moments of fire and a whole lot of fluidity. We’ve partnered with Silent Sounds to bring you a one of a kind Silent Disco Yoga event. Places are limited and Flow After Dark will sell out in advance.”
