Nathaniel Hall is an actor, playwright and HIV activist currently starring in It’s A Sin, a show that has powerfully brought HIV back into the mainstream conversation. The actor brought his own personal story to the performance. Speaking to Lorraine on Wednesday, the star described his HIV diagnosis and his current health condition.
“I was diagnosed seven years into effective medication,” he revealed.
The actor, who came out at sixteen, spoke candidly about the “shame and self-stigmatisation” surrounding a HIV diagnosis.
He revealed how the diagnosis was “impacting my wellbeing”.
Fortunately, Nathaniel’s HIV condition is stable, thanks to ongoing medication.
