Here’s How Being A Taurus Could Affect Your Mental Health

In all things Zodiac, there are some common conceptions that cross the minds of horoscope followers. The Gemini’s double personality, Leo’s strength, and the Taurus’ stubbornness, just to name a few. But have you ever wondered how your sign may affect your health, more specifically, your mental health? Aside from unique and quirky characteristics, your star sign might contribute to your emotional and mental health a bit more than you think. According to The Minds Journal, there are six zodiac signs prone to depression, and Bustle notes four signs that may struggle more with anxiety.

Whether you’re an avid believer in the stars or just follow for fun, there are some tips you can apply to your life, based on your zodiac, that can help support your mental health. According to The Mighty, there is a lack of prioritizing self-care, so any action taken to soothe the soul or calm the mind is beneficial … even at the prompting of your horoscope.

You may have anxiety if you are a Taurus

Taureans need stability and security in order to feel mentally sound (via BeMakeful). Structure and order help the Taurus remain solid, but when it comes to feeling stressed, Zodiac Fire reports that their typical calm persona rapidly turns to ranting and raving. The second zodiac sign does not take lightly to having their lives turned upside down, especially if it’s unexpected, and just like the raging bull, you can expect some snorting and stomping. According to Dream Humanity, the bull is an emotional sign, and when conflicting feelings become too strong, too often, a psychological problem, such as depression or in more severe cases, bi-polar disorder, may develop.

The bulls are notoriously known for being tough, and can mentally handle a lot more than other zodiacs; however, when a Taurus’ world is disrupted, the bull is prone to anxiety. Too much change too fast can leave Taureans feeling anxious, unsure, and even depressed (via Glamour). The mere idea of the bull’s world in turmoil can cause immediate anxiety and unrest, and the Taurus may experience psychosomatic symptoms like chest pains and panic (via Thought Catalog).

No matter your sign, it’s important to seek help if you are feeling emotionally uncomfortable, depressed, or anxious. Call a friend, find a support group, or even reach out to a medical professional. Resources for supporting mental health are as abundant and readily available as ever before.
