Pump up the volume on this video. You’re about to hear some “ludacris” snaps, crackles, and pops.
In a new video posted to Dr. Beau Hightower’s YouTube channel, actor and rapper Ludacris gets some serious adjustments by the famous chiropractor, all while letting the doc interview him about this career and life. And you’ll be just as invested in Luda’s big personality as you are in his massive cracks.
At the beginning of the video, Dr. Hightower says he’s been working with Ludacris for a few weeks, helping him with some “wear and tear” from the rapper and actor’s weight training and martial arts practice. Ludacris says that being close to Dr. Hightower’s home base in New Mexico is one of the biggest perks of filming his new Netflix thriller End of the Road in the state.
After an initial evaluation, Dr. Hightower gets to work using his unique techniques and funky tools, including his signature hammering tools. One especially massive crack includes putting in work on a “sticky spot” on Luda’s neck.
“What, you trying to do a beat or something, man?” the rapper says after the particularly gnarly neck crack. “You trying to create high hats and snares and fucking 808s? That sounded like the crack of a lifetime.”
Ludacris is so in awe of Dr. Hightower’s work that he says he’d “send his private plane” to fly the doc to him in the future. “It’s the greatest shit ever,” Luda says. “It’s the greatest shit ever, especially when you’re an athlete. These are the types of things you have to do for regular maintenance.”
