Former Olympic skiier Lindsey Vonn truly takes no days off when it comes to her workouts. Lindsey is currently on a beachy vacation, and is still working on her fitness. She shared an Instagram Reel of a hardcore beach workout she got in that was created by her celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson.
“Wouldn’t be a vacation if I wasn’t working out! #happy Thx for the program @gunnarfitness 🙏🏻💪🏻,” she captioned the video.
In the video, Lindsey starts out with some core moves like side plank dips and back extensions. She follows it up with some beach sprints and weighted reverse squats while doing tricep extensions using some rocks she found on the beach. She also did some biceps curls while standing in a lunge position. At the end of the video, she is totally drenched in sweat.

And she’s also posted videos of her intense daily gym workouts, like this one that included a real toilet to help her achieve perfect squat form.
Lindsey recently told Women’s Health that exercising helps both her body and mind remain strong. “I just like pushing myself,” she said. “I like feeling strong, and when I feel physically strong, I feel so much more mentally strong. When I work out, I feel like I’m healthier and more confident. I’ve achieved something, no matter how small.”
It wasn’t all hard work in the tropics, though. Lindsey did take time to relax on the beach and stand-up paddleboard in the turquoise waters. Talk about balance!
